Baffin’s Polar Proven® specialized boots are rated to perform at-100°C/-148°F. Tested at both the North and South Poles, these boots perform flawlessly under the most demanding conditions. In our Polar liners we doubled up on B-TekTM insulation and added a double aluminum insole and waffle-comb foot-bed to trap the warm air produced by your body and keep the cold out. This series is appropriate for extended periods of time in extreme cold weather, snow and/or ice covered environments, where activity level may be low to moderate.
BAFFIN Impact Polar Proven boots are designed for extended periods in extreme cold weather, snow, and ice-covered environments where activity levels may be low to moderate. Rated to perform at temperatures as low as -148°F, these specialized boots have been tested at both the North and South Poles.
The removable, multi-layer inner boot system combines double B-Tek insulation, a double aluminum insole, and a waffle-comb foot-bed. This construction helps trap warm air produced by the body while limiting cold penetration. The waterproof Diamond-Lite insulated nylon upper and waterproof nylon snow collar provide additional protection in snowy conditions.
Built with an Arctic Rubber Shell, EVA midsole, and Polar Rubber outsole, the BAFFIN Impact boots provide a durable foundation for demanding cold-weather environments. Double-buckle fastening helps secure the boots during use. This black size 15 model is identified by part number 4000-0048-001-15.
