The FLY RACING Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet combines advanced crash-response technology with a lightweight 12K carbon fiber shell and multi-stage impact management. Its Quin® Race Sensor uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate data during use and automatically detect a crash event. When connected to the Fly Smart App, crash data can be recorded and emergency contacts can be notified. A 5-diamond-level monitoring center dispatches local emergency services for APEX subscribers.
The helmet also includes an SOS Beacon that can notify emergency contacts and emergency services for APEX subscribers when the helmet is tapped five times. Ride analytics provide live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration, Q-Score and more. Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity links the device to the Fly Smart App, while wireless updates help deliver the latest developments from FLY RACING and Quin®. Integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red if a crash occurs.
Impact protection is supported by RHEON Impact Energy Cells, which are designed to absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, along with Conehead® EPS Technology and expanded-volume EPS. The expanded polypropylene chin bar adds energy-absorbing and damage-resistant protection, while the clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to help reduce clavicle injuries. A custom-molded rubber trim includes an integrated nose guard.
Comfort and usability features include washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads. True Functional Ventilation forces air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS channels and rear exhaust vents when in motion. The rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast-charge mode via Micro USB and up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and rise-to-wake functions.

If your exchange is accepted, we’ll send you a return authorization number, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned LIKE custom order products (such as special orders or personalized items). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. There is NO RETURNS on lighting or electrical components at all PERIOD . Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, WE DO NOT accept returns on sale items, DISCOUNTED ITEMS or gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days . As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Exchanges
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the exchange was approved or not. If approved, you will have 30 days to complete your exchange.
