The EXO-AT960 Modular Helmet has evolved from one of the most popular Adventure Motorcycle helmets on the market; the EXO-AT950. Maintaining its high value (in addition to U.S. DOT Certification), ScorpionEXO has now added the latest ECE 22.06 Safety Rating, which requires a wider range of testing than the previous 22.05 certification. The EXO-AT960 can be used as a full face ADV helmet with external peak visor attached, or the peak visor can be removed for a more aerodynamic touring helmet. The oversized eye port is extremely wide for greater peripheral vision and downward visibility, and the modular chin bar can be conveniently flipped up. The internal drop down Speedview® sun-visor allows you to adjust to changing lighting conditions throughout the day. Additionally, the no-fog Everclear® face shield can be removed and you can use the EXO- AT960 with goggles for off-road use. Three shell sizes made of Advanced LG® Polycarbonate and dual density EPS, result in a helmet that is light weight, strong, and protective. And for those who need to stay connected, the EXO-AT960 was specifically designed to integrate with the new EXO-COM® BlueTooth® Communicator Kit while the large speaker pockets also make it compatible with many other com systems in the market. Shell Construction
The SCORPION EXO EXO-AT960 Modular Helmet combines adventure and touring versatility with a modular chin bar, removable external peak visor, and a wide eye port. Use it as a full-face ADV helmet with the peak visor attached, or remove the visor for a more aerodynamic touring setup. The flip-up chin bar uses a single-lever release that can be operated with either hand.
Built with an Advanced LG Polycarbonate shell, dual-density EPS, and strategically placed airflow channels, the EXO-AT960 is designed for impact displacement, energy absorption, ventilation, and ride stability. Its aero-tuned ventilation system includes a large top intake vent, exhaust vents, and a dual-position mouth vent that supports defrosting and ventilation. The helmet carries U.S. DOT Certification and meets the ECE 22.06 safety standard.
Vision features include an EverClear fog-free, anti-scratch face shield with 95% UV-A and UV-B protection, plus a retractable Speedview drop-down sun visor with EverClear anti-fog coating on both surfaces. The wide eye port supports enhanced peripheral and downward visibility, and the face shield can be removed for use with most sizes and brands of goggles. The KwikWick C moisture-wicking liner is removable and washable, while KwikFit 3D sculpted cheek pads accommodate most eyeglasses.
The SCORPION EXO EXO-AT960 is designed to integrate with the EXO-COM Communicator Kit and includes large speaker pockets for compatibility with many other communication systems. A breath deflector, aero skirt, and block-off plates are included for added configuration flexibility.
