The SOLAS Concord Impeller for Kawasaki STXR is engineered with SOLAS impeller design technology to support acceleration, top speed, and overall watercraft performance. This impeller is made from ultra-high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and cast in a one-piece mold. The one-piece construction helps maintain the blade profile without bending the blade edges, supporting consistent pitch throughout the impeller.
The KG-CD-15/21 impeller features a 15/21 pitch configuration. Pitch selection affects watercraft performance: smaller pitches can improve acceleration while reducing top speed, whereas increased pitch can reduce acceleration and increase top speed. A higher-than-stock pitch may be used for watercraft with more horsepower than stock, depending on the desired operating characteristics.
SOLAS also identifies reduced-pitch applications for watercraft with a re-flashed ECU that increases the rev limiter, as well as high-altitude or high-temperature conditions where horsepower may be reduced, when applicable. A reduced pitch can also be selected for carrying greater weight to help limit the volume of water moving through the pump. Limited and Modified impeller recommendations may be used in either application depending on the desired RPM and speed. The SOLAS KG-CD-15/21 brings these design and pitch-selection considerations together in an impeller identified as the Concord Impeller Kaw Stxr.
