fly-racing-formula-cp-slice-helmet-grey-red-black-large-73-0051l
FLY RACING Formula CP Slice Helmet, Grey/Red/Black, Large, 73-0051L

The FLY RACING Formula CP Slice Helmet combines a lightweight polycarbonate alloy shell with an impact management system designed to address a range of impact forces. Its shell construction provides penetration resistance while helping reduce overall helmet weight.

The helmet features RHEON Impact Energy Cells to maximize absorption of low-speed linear and rotational impacts, helping reduce forces transmitted to the brain. Multi-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) technology uses a softer EPS structure with critical zones tuned for progressive response to low- and high-speed impacts. Expanded-volume EPS adds impact-absorbing material in strategic areas, providing more suspension between the head and the ground.

An EPS chin bar adds another element of impact mitigation, with damage resistance and energy-absorbing properties. The clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to create a soft zone intended to help reduce clavicle injuries. Additional details include custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, lightweight custom visor screws and stainless steel D-rings. The FLY RACING Formula CP Slice Helmet is listed as ECE / DOT approved.

Features:

Construction: Polycarbonate alloy shell construction provides a lightweight shell with penetration resistance.

Impact Energy Cells: RHEON cells maximize absorption of low-speed linear and rotational impacts, helping reduce forces transmitted to the brain.

EPS Technology: Multi-density Expanded Polystyrene provides a softer EPS structure with zones tuned for progressive response to low- and high-speed impacts.

Expanded-Volume EPS: Strategic areas contain more impact-absorbing EPS for increased suspension between the head and the ground.

EPS Chin Bar: Adds an additional impact-mitigation element with damage resistance and energy-absorbing properties.

Clavicle Relief Zone: A soft zone filled with EPS and EPP helps reduce clavicle injuries.

Trim and Nose Guard: Custom-molded rubber trim includes an integrated nose guard.

Hardware: Includes lightweight custom visor screws and stainless steel D-rings.

Approval: ECE / DOT approved.

https://www.thespeedshopusa.com/products/fly-racing-formula-cp-slice-helmet-grey-red-black-large-73-0051l
