The FLY RACING Youth Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet combines advanced impact-management features with connected safety technology for riding performance and protection. Its 12K carbon fiber shell provides a lightweight structure with penetration resistance, while RHEON Impact Energy Cells help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts. Conehead® EPS Technology uses six tuned zones to manage low- and high-speed impact forces, and expanded-volume EPS provides additional impact-absorbing material in strategic areas.
The helmet includes an expanded polypropylene chin bar designed for impact mitigation, damage resistance, and energy absorption. A clavicle shell relief zone uses EPS and EPP to help reduce clavicle injuries. Custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard supports the helmet’s functional design, while washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liners and quick-release cheek pads help maintain comfort and convenience.
Integrated Quin® Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate data during use and automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App, crash impact data can be recorded and emergency contacts can be notified. The SOS Beacon can notify emergency contacts and emergency services for APEX subscribers by tapping the helmet five times. Ride analytics include live GPS tracking, speed, accelerations, and Q-Score. Bluetooth 5.0 connects the helmet device to the Fly Smart App, and wireless updates provide the latest developments from FLY RACING and Quin®.
A rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast-charge mode through Micro USB and up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage. Automatic sleep and rise-to-wake functions help conserve battery power. Integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red if a crash occurs. True Functional Ventilation forces air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS channels, and rear exhaust vents while the FLY RACING Youth Formula S Carbon Protocol Helmet is in motion.
