The Creators of the original bad-ass Covert Motorcycle Helmet has now developed a full-face version, the Covert FX Carbon! The Covert FX displays the same edgy style and function that is expected from the ScorpionEXO® Covert Series. However stylish the details may be, they have important function. Each helmet is carefully hand crafted using the latest 3K Carbon Fiber which provide superior strength and extreme light weight. The low-profile shell has been aerodynamically tuned for motorcycle riding, minimizing both lift and turbulence for a smoother, quieter, and more stable ride. Integrated speaker pockets make it easy to install your favorite Bluetooth® communication device, while the KwikWick-C comfort Liner features a moisture wicking material that will keep you cool, dry and comfortable during your ride. ScorpionEXO® continues to set the standard when it comes to Value in a motorcycle helmet by including a Free Dark Smoke Shield, as well as a Clear shield, right out of the box. If you’re looking for a Stylish and Functional motorcycle helmet that’s perfect for both city commutes and long-distance touring, look no further than the Covert FX Carbon.
The SCORPION EXO Covert FX Carbon is a full-face motorcycle helmet that combines the edgy styling associated with the Covert Series with functional features for city commuting and long-distance touring. Its low-profile shell is aerodynamically tuned to minimize lift and turbulence for a smoother, quieter, and more stable ride. The extremely lightweight TCT-U 3K Carbon Fiber shell is designed to provide superior strength and impact dispersal properties, while the advanced multi-layer EPS helps absorb energy.
Comfort-focused details include an aero-tuned ventilation system with closeable top intake vents and exhaust vents to help move air through the helmet. The dual-position mouth vent can function as a defroster or as a defroster and ventilation port, with closure available from inside the helmet. The KwikWick III comfort liner uses moisture-wicking fabric, and the liner kit is removable and washable. KwikFit 3D sculpted cheek pads accommodate most eyeglasses, while optional thinner and thicker cheek pads are available separately to help optimize fit.
For visibility, the SCORPION EXO Covert FX Carbon features a ratcheting face shield system, an EverClear face shield with fog-free technology and 95% UV-A and UV-B protection, and an optically superior shatter-resistant shield with an anti-scratch hardened coating. A dark smoke EverClear fog-free face shield is included. The tool-less shield removal system simplifies changes, and integrated speaker pockets support installation of a Bluetooth communication system. Reflective material in the cheek pads and a solid neoprene aero skirt help enhance nighttime visibility and reduce wind noise.
