SOLAS Concord Impeller Sea-Doo part SD-CD-15/23 is designed with SOLAS impeller technology and a focus on performance-oriented watercraft applications. SOLAS manufactures its impellers from ultra-high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and casts them in a one-piece mold. This construction avoids bending the blade edges and helps achieve the intended pitch profile.
Impeller pitch affects acceleration and top speed. A smaller pitch can improve acceleration while reducing top speed, while increasing pitch can reduce acceleration and increase top speed. A higher-than-stock pitch may be used for watercraft with more horsepower than stock. SOLAS also provides Limited and Modified impeller recommendations for different desired RPM and speed requirements.
A lower-than-stock pitch may be suitable for watercraft with a re-flashed ECU that increases the rev limiter, when applicable. It may also be used in high-altitude or high-temperature applications where available horsepower is reduced. Reduced pitch can help accommodate increased carried weight by limiting the volume of water moving through the pump. Select the appropriate pitch according to the watercraft setup and desired performance characteristics.
