The SOLAS Concord RXP 14/19 impeller is designed to support responsive personal watercraft performance through carefully engineered pitch characteristics. SOLAS uses ultra-high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel and casts each impeller in a one-piece mold without bending the blade edges, helping achieve consistent pitch.
Pitch selection influences acceleration, top speed, and operating performance. A smaller pitch can improve acceleration while reducing top speed, whereas increasing pitch can reduce acceleration and increase top speed. A higher-than-stock pitch may be suitable for watercraft with more horsepower than stock, while a lower-than-stock pitch may be used in applicable applications with increased rev-limiter range, high altitude, high temperatures, or greater carrying weight.
Limited and modified impeller recommendations can be used in either application depending on the desired RPM and speed. The SOLAS SRX-CD-14/19 provides a stainless-steel impeller option for applications where pitch characteristics and operating conditions are important considerations.
Features:
- Material: Ultra-high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel
- Construction: Cast in a one-piece mold without bending the blade edges
- Pitch effect: Smaller pitches improve acceleration and reduce top speed
- Pitch effect: Increasing pitch decreases acceleration and increases top speed
- Application guidance: Higher pitch than stock can be used for watercraft with more horsepower than stock
- Application guidance: Lower pitch than stock can be used for applicable high-altitude or high-temperature conditions where horsepower is lost
- Load guidance: Reduced pitch can be used for higher weight to be carried to limit the volume of water through the pump
