The SOLAS X Series Impeller is designed with SOLAS impeller technology and manufactured from ultra-high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The one-piece mold construction avoids bending the blade edges, supporting precise pitch formation.
Impeller pitch selection affects acceleration and top speed. A smaller pitch can improve acceleration while reducing top speed, whereas increased pitch can reduce acceleration and increase top speed. A higher-than-stock pitch may be used for watercraft with more horsepower than stock.
SOLAS limited and modified impeller recommendations may be used in either application depending on the desired RPM and speed. A lower-than-stock pitch may be used with a watercraft featuring a re-flashed ECU that increases the rev limiter, or in high-altitude and high-temperature applications where horsepower is reduced, when applicable. Reduced pitch can also support carrying higher weight by limiting the volume of water through the pump.
Features:
- Construction: Made from ultra-high-strength, corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
- Manufacturing: Cast in a one-piece mold without bending the blade edges.
- Pitch selection: Smaller pitches improve acceleration and reduce top speed.
- Pitch selection: Increasing pitch decreases acceleration and increases top speed.
- Application guidance: Higher pitch than stock can be used for watercraft with more horsepower than stock.
- Application guidance: Lower pitch than stock may be used for applicable re-flashed ECU, high-altitude, or high-temperature applications.
- Weight handling: Reduced pitch can be used for higher weight to be carried to limit the volume of water through the pump.
