This forged piston is manufactured from high-silicon, low-expansion aluminum to provide superior strength, reduced weight, improved heat transfer, and extended service life.

WISECO uses diamond-turning processes on CNC-controlled equipment to produce a precise finish with consistent sizing. The piston is suitable for use with cast iron, chrome, Nikasil, and boron composite cylinder bore compositions. WISECO oversize piston options can also help extend the service life of cast iron-lined cylinders, while resleeved chrome, Nikasil, and boron composite cylinders can accept WISECO oversizes.

Manufactured in WISECO’s computerized production facility, the K1685 reflects the brand’s focus on supplying forged pistons for both high-performance racing and recreational applications.

Features:

Forged from high-silicon, low-expansion aluminum for strength, reduced weight, improved heat transfer, and longer life

Diamond-turned finish produced on CNC-controlled turning equipment for consistent sizing

Suitable for cylinder bores with cast iron, chrome, Nikasil, and boron composite compositions

Oversize piston options can increase the service life of cast iron-lined cylinders

Designed for the 1200 Evo Sportster with a 10.5:1 compression ratio

https://www.thespeedshopusa.com/products/wiseco-k1685-v-twin-piston-kit-for-1200-evo-sportster-10-5-1-compression
